Amelia Makes Art-- this little shop on Etsy.com is one of my all-time faves. She uses Icelandic and Merino wool to create adorable needle-felted dog and cat sculptures. Hard to explain with words, you gotta see the visual.
Ask-A-Vet at Petside.com is a really great resource when you have a quick easy pet health question and can't get to your own vet. Just select dog or cat then select your pet's symptoms and they will generate a list of all the possible conditions and suggest a treatment plan.
Animal Rescue Site -- click that purple button on their homepage every day. Each click they get means .6 bowls of food have been given to rescued animals. They've also got all kinds of great doggy gift ideas offered by their sponsors (the ones who pay for the food you donate when you click every day!)
Boulder Pets Examiner-- okay, yes, The Boulder Pets Examiner is me. But the articles are damn interesting and informative so it's a valid website suggestion. You'll find Top 5 Wacky Animal Stories plus advance notice of upcoming pet events, the dog-friendliest stores in town, the latest info on pet healthcare, great photos (also mine) and also links to helpful articles like "How to Save a Pet's Life with CPR". Be sure to click on the "subscribe to email" link beside my photo so you'll be notified when I post a new column. And I LOVE to hear suggestions and story ideas from folks about anything and everything pet-related, so if you have an idea please share!
Cute Overload -- Get ready for your knees to go weak and your brain to turn to a light and fluffy pudding from all the cuteness. You'll see deliciously adorable pictures and videos of puppies, kittens, hedgehogs (surprisingly appealing), hamsters, bunnies and the occasional endearing reptile. Like I Can Has Cheezburger, Cute Overload is quite adept at creating enchanting captions in case the visuals aren't enough for your sweet tooth.
Dog-Gone-Fun -- Simply the best and most personalized Adventure Dog Walking, in-home Pet Sitting, and Pet Valet Services in the area! Their specialty is off-leash, outdoor, Adventure walking activities. Your dog is picked up and dropped off from home. They are located in Boulder but also serve many of the surrounding communities including Niwot, Gunbarrel, Longmont and Louisville. They are members of Petsitters International (PSI).
GW Little -- this is the ultimate fru-fru site for small dogs in need of spoiling (and aren't they all?). You'll find divine dog clothes and accessories, hip harnesses and leashes, extravagant dog beds (although none as lovely as our own Laps of Luxury dog beds), plus all sorts of pet health care and grooming goodies.
Humane Society of Boulder Valley -- one of the most successful no-kill shelters in the United States! In addition to finding new homes for animals of all kinds, the HSBV also has a full-service clinic, a retail store, a thrift and gift shop, offers a plethora of dog training resources, and hosts some of the biggest, most entertaining fundraising events in the county.
I Can Has Cheezburger is always good for a laugh out loud. This site features funy dog pictures, funny cat pictures, funny human pictures, funny celebrity lool-alike pictures, well you get the idea. All funny pics are made even more hilarious with ridunkulous captions - you can even write your own if you'd like.

Pop Art Pet- Everybody with basic photo editing software thinks they can create a Warhol-style pop art painting but to do it well requires true skill and artistry. And these gals gotz it. Buy a ready-made print or commission one of your own.

Tenderfoot teaches with no gimmicks, no props, just your voice, body language, energy and intentions to help you live in harmony with your dog - so the dog listens to you out of respect and mutual love not because of the treats in your hand!
Xanaru's Zazzle Shop -- Awesome place for snarky t-shirts, biting bumper stickers (Edward and Bella kind of biting!), ironic gifts and of course, lots of funny dog pictures. And yes, it's another shameless plug for one of my own ventures. You'll love it!
