The 10th Annual Canine Classic: live music, beer, food and lots of tail sniffing
Ahhh, springtime in Boulder. What better way to celebrate the season than to spend a Saturday morning at the Res, kicking back
with a beer, listening to live music and watching a couple thousand dogs sniff each others’ butts?
If that’s the sort of thing you’re into, then the Canine Classic 5k Run/Walk is the place you want to be. Especially if you’re a dog. Or if you love a dog or you’ve ever met a dog or you just want to hang out with dogs while you enjoy live music and a beer. Did I mention there will be beer? And dogs?
The Canine Classic is a dog-friendly walk/run that benefits MESA (Moving to End Sexual Assault) which is a non-profit organization that serves Boulder and Broomfield counties.
In addition to the aforementioned live music and beer and dogs, you’ll also find a local vendor expo and “incredible displays of canine talent,” according to Jessica Shannon of MESA. Can’t wait to find out what that means…
